Ben Comerford, Chair
Having beaten a pilgrim’s path over the course of his life, Ben has found a home in and is a proud resident of LaGrange, Georgia. He is a graduate of the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business, where he majored in Finance and Real Estate. Professionally, Ben has contributed to the successful development, acquisition, and management of over a billion dollars in commercial real estate projects throughout the United States. Ben is skilled in differentiating details that forecast success, with the ability to discern and implement strategies for long term, continuous growth. He has served as the Executive Director of the non-profit Downtown LaGrange Development Authority and has also led marketing and business development teams in the textile and logistics industries.
With a self-described ‘Jeffersonian’ love of agriculture, Ben is the owner of EverGrass Farms, a purebred and commercial cattle operation. Additionally, Ben and his brother, Matt co-founded Comerford Farms, a field to market producer, wholesaler, and retailer of poultry, pork, lamb, and beef.
After surrendering to the relentless love of Jesus, Ben considers marrying Nicole to be the high water mark in his life. Ben and Nicole have been blessed with three children: Amelia, Annie, and Will. The Comerford’s are members of Rosemont Baptist Church where Ben serves as a deacon and teaches the 11th & 12th grade boy’s Sunday school class. As a disciple of Christ, He hopes to see lives changed and molded to the person of Jesus Christ. Ben is eager to work with the business owners of Atlanta, Western Georgia, and Eastern Alabama, to Build Great Businesses for a GREATER Purpose.
