Tim comes to the role of C12 Chair having been both a C-suite executive with small to midsized companies and a business owner. His prior CEO/COO/CFO roles give him experience in strategic planning, vision/alignment, financial management, marketing, labor management, operational management, and mentoring. Tim has provided leadership to several turnarounds of medium and large-sized hospitals of 260 to 1000 employees and revenues ranging from $50 million to $1.2 Billion. Tim's leadership approach always aimed at mentoring and preparing his direct reports on these leadership teams such that they might grow into future CEOs and CFOs.
Tim has a BS in Accounting from WVU Tech and an MBA from the University of Miami (FL). He has known the Lord since his mid-teens. Tim has served as a Sunday school youth teacher, participates in several men's groups, and has been blessed by taking short-term mission trips to Nicaragua and Angola Prison in Louisiana.
Tim and his wife Jennifer have four adult children, three of whom are married, and they enjoy golf, swimming, and other outdoor activities. Tim is excited to be called by the Lord to help Christian CEOs "Build GREAT Businesses for a GREATER Purpose" in order to glorify God, "Who desires all men to be saved and come to the knowledge of truth." (1Timothy 2:4)
Successful people ask better questions and, as a result, get better answers. Many accomplished CEOs are infamous for their curiosity and enthusiastic questioning of customers and staffers alike. Asking timely, strategic questions is a conversational skill that makes us better at everything related to life and leadership.
