With more than 35 years of experience in general business and strategy consulting as well as C-level positions with two consumer products companies, Gary Masching has joined The C12 Group as an Area Chair in the region that spans from northwest suburbs of Chicago to Rockford, IL. As a C12 Chair, Gary will develop and facilitate peer groups of Christian business CEOs and owners who meet on a monthly basis to learn, encourage and hold one another accountable as they strive to successfully lead their businesses and personal lives as Christ followers. 11 years with the CPA firm of McGladrey. As a partner, Gary consulted with small/medium-size clients in a variety of industries, and served as Personnel Partner in their Schaumburg, IL office.
14 years with VTech Industries, a U.S. subsidiary of VTech Limited, a publicly-held consumer electronics manufacturer and distributor in Hong Kong. Gary held positions as CFO, COO and President/CEO.
8 years with Digital Innovations, LLC, a developer and distributor of consumer electronic products, based in Arlington Heights, IL. Gary served as CFO/COO and as President/CEO.
2 years as Managing Director of Giraffe, LLC, a strategic planning consulting firm.
Besides Garys extensive business experience and facilitation skills, Gary and his wife Peg are members of Willow Creek Community Church where they have attended since 1983. During those years Gary has served with Promiseland, the Cars ministry, the Traffic Team, Financial Peace University, and the Construction Team in partnership with Habitat for Humanity. Gary has served on mission trips to Mexico through the Compassion and Justice ministry and participates in and facilitates men and couples small groups.

After 34 years in the insurance industry, Dave sensed the call to develop C12 Groups in the Chicago area. Dave brings to C12 experience in agency expansion and growth, mergers and acquisitions, as well as small business growth and planning. He has held positions as president of two different firms and is also a past president of the largest insurance state association for independent agents in Illinois.
Along with his business background, Dave has been involved in leadership with small groups, couples groups, marriage ministry, and has led retreats for leaders with a focus on spiritual disciplines and development. Dave has also mentored high school students, and has served as president of the board for Emmaus Ministries in Chicago, which ministers to broken lives of men in the inner city. Daves passions also includes short term missions which has taken him to China and, more recently, working with church leaders in the Dominican Republic.
Daves desire is to see leaders in business develop to their true capacity not only in the business world, but personally and spiritually, to be all that God has called them to be.
Dave and Robin, his wife of 39 years, reside in Downers Grove and have two grown children, along with 4 grandchildren. They are members and active in leadership at Christ Church of Oak Brook.
