Mike joined C12 in 2018 with extensive experience growing privately-held companies, developing leaders as an executive coach and participating in powerful peer advisory groups. Mike’s background includes: • More than 25 years of C-level experience with accomplished companies serving the medical, pharmaceutical, consumer products, foodservice, and technology sectors • Engineered 20 acquisition and divestiture transactions to meet strategic and marketplace needs • Transformed workplace cultures to thrive on change with emphasis on employee development, customer satisfaction, and value creation • Served as an outside, independent Board Member for diverse organizations • Active community volunteer focused on the education and healthcare needs of metropolitan Phoenix • Engineering degree from ASU and an MBA from Stanford’s Graduate School of Business Mike and his wife Cheryl live in Phoenix and are members of Camelback Bible Church. They have five children and enjoy traveling, which is fortunate since three of their kids are pursuing undergraduate and graduate degrees out-of-state.

Tim Holmes

Tim Holmes brings experience in business ownership and executive coaching to his role as a C12 Group Chair. His work with Christian business owners follows a successful 25-year career in the financial sector. As a former business owner responsible for 50+ employees and $20+ million in annual revenue, Tim understands the challenges of running a business. That's why he is committed to CEOs helping CEOs in C12 Group roundtable forums. In addition, Tim uses professional coaching techniques in monthly 1-on-1 sessions with C12 members. Tim’s background includes:

Personal Information: Tim has been married to his wife Jan for 32 years. They have two sons who reside in Atlanta. Tim enjoys studying scripture, reading, fly-fishing, barbequing, and cooking.  Finance Career Details: Tim has financial expertise in options trading, managed futures, and private equity investments. As Managing Member of Genesis Research & Asset Management, LLC, Tim was Director of Portfolio and Risk Management for Genesis Multi Manager Futures Fund, LLC. The fund won the 2012 World Finance award as the Best Managed Futures CTA Fund of Hedge Funds North America. Prior to Genesis, Tim was Chief Investment Officer for an investment division of a regional bank where he evaluated products for qualified investors. Tim began his finance career as a technical analyst and options trader. He traded currencies, NASDAQ, and S&P 500 Index options. Tim rose to Partner and Managing Member of Futrex, LLC, a futures and options trading firm with operations at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, Chicago Board Options Exchange, and LIFFE in London. Tim was a member of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and later, the Chicago Board Options Exchange. At Futrex, Tim had oversight of trading strategy and operations development, information technology, trader development and education, and firm risk management. Ministry Work Details: Following his trading career, Tim pursued a ministry education at the University of Chicago Divinity School. During three years of full-time study, he focused on Scripture and ethics. He earned his Master of Divinity in 2006. Through his extensive examination of Scripture and its revelation of Jesus Christ, Tim formed a deeper love of Christ. His study of Christian ethics examined how people and communities treat others and direct their lives through challenges and moral conflicts as followers of Christ. As a licensed minister, Tim served as Pastor of Worship and Care for the Vespers Community at Christ Church of Oak Brook, in suburban Chicago. He received a Clinical Pastoral Education unit as Chaplain at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. Currently, Tim teaches a Sunday morning class at McDowell Mountain Community Church. Beginning in fall 2018, Tim will lead the class through a nine-month study of Romans. Education:
